Is This Another Arsenal's 1969-1970 Season?

If you have read my recent articles on Arsenal, you would have know that I've taken a pretty strong stand against the board and the manager, leaving a lot of critics.
5-7 years ago, this would mean to assign yourself to the kick-list and prepare for the worst from fellow Gooners. Now, with the growing unease from worldwide Gooners fans on Arsenal's situation, particularly Arsene Wenger, I know that I'm not alone with my opinion.
Arsenal has picked up the worst amount of points this season, just 34 out of 22 matches. Arsenal has only won 46% of all the matches they played. It's inconsistency costed under-performing matches, leading to frustration and lack of confident. Gunners' points are closer to West Brom than to Man United. This Arsenal team needed a leader! Vermaelen is a good player, but a poor leader.
As such, Wenger still claimed that this is the best group of Arsenal players he has worked with, mocking the team with Pires, Henry and the Invincibles. He claimed that this group "cares" just as much as the Invincibles, if not more.
This is not a statement, it is a confession! It proves that Wenger's "youth project" has failed. His arrogant and stubborn attitude has been paid off. With time ticking for answers and results, Wenger has to lie to continues to sell his hopes for the fans. He has to say that for fans alike to continue believing he could revolutionise Arsenal once more with this group of players!
Don't get me wrong though, because I never said a word about Wenger's achievement hasn't been great. Wenger is a legend, no doubt about that, but he's not a living one! Without him, Arsenal wouldn't be known worldwide, without him, I wouldn't know what Arsenal was! I could talk all day about his achievements in details, but you can find that on Wikipedia.
There are undoubtly many, many supporters who have questioned Wenger's position. Including Arsenal's most influential group, The Black Scarf, who started the 'Where Has Our Arsenal Gone?'. Indeed, in a poll, 48% of the members are questioning Wenger as the best man. Gooner celebrities like CNN's Piers Morgan and top models are putting out there opinions with #WengerOut.
With things going like this, Arsenal could potentially finishing as an average team, excluded out of " The Big Four", no more Super Sunday, and a similar 1969-1970 situation will be relived. In that season, Arsenal finished 12th, leading to a evolutional campaign which saw the team winning a doubles in the following season. Something that is needed this time around.
Arsene needed the 4th spot to save his job, but he doesn't know where to spend, no one's coming to rescue the team, fans questioning this Arsenal side, the board's ambition weighing on what's been a legendary Le Prof, Arsene could be heading to the darkest time of his career. It's been a bumpy ride, surely, but it will worth it, trust me.
