G'day Gooners,
No Arsenal this weekend, but at least we won't have to see another Arsenal lost or Wenger selling hope to his loyal fans.
We'll quickly go through the news first, with the rumours of the Arabs takeover, here's a quote from ESPN:
"The papers report that the offer for 100% ownership will come in at around £1.5 billion - twice the amount at which Arsenal were valued two years ago - and, if successful, would wipe out debts that stand at around £250 million."In response to that, we got this from the Chairman:
"I have heard nothing and I don't think anybody knows anything about it at the club," Hill-Wood said. "It all seems a bit of a waste of time.
"If there is this consortium, they can't make any progress unless they attempt to get in touch. So I can't say if there is anything to it or not.
"But even if they did make an approach, my understanding is our two major shareholders do not want to sell."So obviously, Silent Stan is not done with Arsenal yet, and unless Wenger fails to qualify for a Champions League spot, this 65 year-old penny-pinching American will continue to lead Arsenal into a marketing business rather than a football club. Unless he is willing to sell his shares and is fed enough with this easy money, failure is the only way to get us out of this horrific downhill ride on the roller-coaster, which leads us to the good news.
Bayern will end the Wenger era, hopefully Kroenke's short period at the club too.
The results see for themselves as Arsenal lost to a shockingly weak Division 1 side at home in the FA cup. They then saw themselves out-quality by Bayern at the Emirates in the first leg of CL, and then at White Hart Lane to their biggest rival Spurs.
Only a miracle can save Arsenal through the next round against Bayern in Germany, and I do not wish that miracle to arrive.

| Bayern will finish off this Arsenal era? |
Arsenal is currently 5 points off the top 4 with 10 games to play, no way near impossible, but will the players stand the pressure of the fans' expectations with failures after failures in competitions? Hope and faith are the only two things left in this Arsenal team, and one more lost is just enough to let Wenger have a dignified exit.
If Arsenal is to make impossible possible at the Allianz Arena however, that would be a different story. Till tomorrow Gooners, have a nice weekend.
